Bio/Resume
Alyssa Robbins is a graduate of Florida State College of Jacksonville with her Bachelor of Science degree in Digital Media. Over the past four years she has completed a student fellowship for a local government campaign, as well as two prestigious summer internships as a graphic designer. One internship was at a well-known local marketing company, and the other was at a nation-wide non-profit. These internships have given her a background in working for both a large and small company. While Alyssa has had much experience doing graphics in the political field due to the fellowship and non-profit, it is her dream to work someplace more immersed in the artistic or musical world where her visuals can bring the audience together through shared feelings and experiences. Alyssa's most recent experience has been with Southeastern Grocers where she has run multiple ads, proofed many marketing materials, and run many detail-oriented projects from start to finish. Alyssa believes that not all work has to be hard and enjoys putting time into planning, developing, and producing her work because for Alyssa, creating is more like play. She sees each project as a puzzle and enjoys finding the distinctive solution to each specific challenge. Most of her professional work consists of infographics, which she tries to make not only functional but interesting for the audience through her unique applications of design principles such as line, color, and space. However, Alyssa also enjoys incorporating her photography/photo editing skills and animation into any projects where it is applicable. Her work often includes a lot of repetition and a theme of daily life struggles.
